Founder & Technical Director

Arman mogharei

My name is Arman Mogharei and I am the Founder/CEO/Director of Futbol activities/Coach at Maestro Futbol Academy. Our goal at MFA is to instill the love of the beautiful game by teaching your kids the skills and the mindset to excel.

I have been playing team soccer for over 20 years. I love team dynamics as well as the pure joy of physical activity in a very competitive environment. I really enjoy the mental side of the game. It is like a chess match to me- which is why the Spanish style of futbol really intrigues me. I’ve always enjoyed watching Barcelona FC play and grew up during the Pep Guardiola “tiki-taka” era where players like Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, and Messi displayed that Spanish-based possession style of futbol and made it enjoyable to watch.

While in Spain, I was able to learn about the Spanish philosophy and the ideology of how they see the beautiful game. I saw how they developed the youth players at La Masia and in nearby clubs around Barcelona, to eventually fulfill their dreams of playing in the top divisions in Spain. That taught me to focus on the long-term development of players to help them achieve their ultimate goals. I went through the ranks of the UEFA coaching tree to receive my UEFA Pro coaching license.
